Francie Rapier, right in photo, and Tim Shepperd, left, have been named Post Falls High School's student and teacher of the month for April.
Rapier is a senior with a 3.47 grade-point average who takes all honors classes. She has lettered all four years in track and recently broke the Trojans' shot put record. Rapier is a member of the International Club, the German Club and the Key Club. She has been an honor student throughout her high school years. she plans to attend the University of Idaho in the fall.
Shepperd, a teacher at Post Falls High School for 18 years, teaches French and taught U.S. History for 15 years. He is the senior class advisor, student council advisor, French Club advisor and the Paris tour leader. He is a past president of the Post Falls Education Association.

"Although the old McGuire schoolhouse no longer stands along Corbin Road today, it served the McGuire community, west of Post Falls, well during the early-20th century.
